About
The teaching ministry of Clark & Kathy Pickett
Helping Believers Grow in Biblical Understanding and Spiritual Maturity.

Our heart
We love the Bible, and we love helping others love it too.
Clark and Kathy Pickett have spent their lives learning, teaching, and living the Scriptures. What began as a personal love for God's Word grew into a shared calling, lived out through years of teaching Sunday classes and weekly Bible studies, planting and pastoring churches, leading women's studies, and serving together on the mission field in Kenya.
Their heart is simple. They want to open the Bible clearly and faithfully, so that ordinary Christians can read it with confidence, understand it in its true context, and be changed by it. They are not interested in clever novelty. They are interested in the old, deep truths of Scripture, taught with care and warmth, and read in the light of the whole story God is telling.
Clark teaches verse by verse, always pressing the honest question of any passage: what was the author actually trying to say? Kathy teaches and writes to draw believers into the heart of the text and the heart of God. Whether through a written teaching, a short devotional, a study guide, or the podcast to come, their prayer is the same: that you would come to know God more deeply and walk with him more faithfully.
“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.”
2 Peter 3:18
Meet Clark & Kathy
Clark Pickett
Bible Teacher
Clark Pickett has spent decades opening the Scriptures, teaching the Bible in Sunday classes, small groups, and Monday evening gatherings. Over the years he has helped plant and pastor churches, trained at Nazarene Theological Seminary, and in 2013 he and Kathy spent two weeks serving on a mission trip in Kenya. Alongside his ministry, Clark built a long career in business and financial services. He holds a Master of Science in Management from The American College of Financial Services, along with the CPCU and Certified Treasury Professional designations, and spent years working in accounting, insurance, and financial systems. He has always seen these as one calling rather than two: the same God who gives wisdom for the soul gives wisdom for stewardship, leadership, and the everyday decisions of work and money. That conviction, that Scripture speaks to all of life, shapes the way he teaches. He loves the letter of James, the epistles of Paul, the wisdom literature, and the long story of how the church has read its Bible, and he is happiest helping ordinary believers study with confidence and grow in grace.

Bible Teacher & Writer
Kathy Pickett teaches and writes with warmth and depth, drawing believers into the heart of the text and the heart of God. She has led women's Bible studies for years, including inductive Precept studies and a study through the book of James, and she labored alongside Clark in planting a church and serving on the mission field in Kenya. Whether the subject is the fear that so easily grips us or the freedom of living with no condemnation in Christ, her teaching meets people in everyday life and points them toward maturity and hope.
